At Drip, your privacy matters. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights as a user. We are committed to handling your personal information with care and transparency.
We collect the following types of information when you use Drip: Account Information: When you register, we collect your email address, name, and password (stored securely via Supabase Auth). Wardrobe Data: Photos and metadata you upload about your clothing items, including item name, category, colour, and brand. Style & Profile Data: Information generated through features such as Colour Analysis (your colour season, undertone, best and avoid colours), Body Analysis, Style DNA preferences and ratings, and Capsule Wardrobe selections. Usage Data: How you interact with the Service, including features used, outfits generated, and swipe preferences in Style DNA. Device & Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, and cookies used to maintain your session and improve the Service.
We use your information to: • Provide and personalise the Drip Service, including AI outfit generation, colour analysis, and shopping recommendations • Improve AI model accuracy and service quality using anonymised, aggregated data • Maintain your account and authenticate your identity • Communicate with you about your account or Service updates • Comply with legal obligations We do not use your data for targeted advertising. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Drip uses Anthropic's Claude AI to process your wardrobe data, style preferences, and photos to generate personalised recommendations. Your data is sent to Anthropic's API for processing and is subject to Anthropic's data handling policies. We send only the minimum data necessary for each AI feature. Anthropic does not use your data to train their models without explicit consent under their enterprise API terms.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is stored on servers in the United States. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), row-level security on all database tables (so only you can access your data), and secure file storage for wardrobe photos. Despite these measures, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Drip uses cookies and browser local storage to: • Maintain your login session • Remember your preferences (e.g. saved try-on photo URL) • Store recently generated outfits for Style DNA rating We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. You can clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings, though this may affect your ability to stay logged in.
We share your data only with the following third-party service providers who help us operate the Service: • Supabase — database and file storage (supabase.com) • Anthropic — AI processing for styling features (anthropic.com) • Vercel — hosting and deployment (vercel.com) Each provider is contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes of providing services to Drip. We do not share your personal data with advertisers, data brokers, or any other third parties.
You have the following rights regarding your personal data: Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you. Correction: You may update or correct your account information at any time through your account settings. Deletion: You may delete your account at any time, which will permanently remove your data from our systems within 30 days. Individual wardrobe items can be deleted directly from the app. Portability: You may request an export of your data in a machine-readable format. Drip is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at support@drip.style and we will take steps to delete such information promptly.
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or compliance purposes. Anonymised, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for service improvement purposes.
If you are a California resident, you have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used, the right to request deletion of your personal information, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (note: we do not sell personal information).
